FAQs

Why should I choose a MicroLingual™ vitamin tablet product?
The absorption rate of dietary supplements can be greatly increased by not using the binders and fillers found in most vitamins. Superior Source's revolutionary MicroLingual™ vitamin tablets are manufactured to dissolve instantly when placed under the tongue. There is no waiting, no water needed and no messy sprays or liquids.

How are MicroLingual™ tablets made?
The state of the art manufacturing equipment used to create MicroLingual™ Tablets provides a unique process of hydration and drying, in which lactose crystals and nutrients are bonded to form instant dissolve tablets that deliver nutrients on contact.

Why is it better to take a B-12 MicroLingual™ vitamin tablet?
When regular B-12 tablets are swallowed, they are combined with a substance in the stomach called intrinsic factor (IF). Intrinsic factor decreases as we age. This makes absorption of B-12 in the stomach far less effective. In addition, B-12 is further filtered in the liver before it reaches the blood stream. In contrast with this, when you take a MicroLingual™ vitamin tablet, the B-12 passes through the glands under the tongue and goes directly to the blood stream, bypassing the digestive track completely. This results in higher and more effective absorption rates.

Can No Shot B-12 be used in place of an injection?
No. B-12 is a dietary supplement only and not intended to be used as a drug. Please consult your physician for advice on medical conditions.

How do the combination vitamin B formulas work?
Vitamin B-12 promotes energy and stamina and provides for improved mental clarity. B-12 is also needed to maintain healthy nerve cells as well as red blood cells and is essential in the production of DNA. When B-12 is taken in combination with vitamins B-6 and folic acid, the synergistic effect supports heart health and promotes an optimally functioning nervous system.

Why is the B-12 tablet such a dark pink while your competitor's products are a light pink?
B-12 is naturally a dark shade of pink, almost red. Our B-12 vitamin tablets and vitamin combination formulas are manufactured using only a small amount of binders and fillers. The result is a dark pink tablet rather than a more diluted pink color. Our products are all natural and contain no artificial colors or flavors.

Why is there powder at the bottom of the vitamin tablet bottle?
The process used to manufacture MicroLingual™ vitamin tablets is a gentle molding process. Other types of tablets are compressed by tons of force and heat. This can break down the molecular properties of vitamins like B-12. MicroLingual™ tablets may look a little rough and be softer than most other tablets. Some powder may result in the bottom of the bottle.
