Why is it better to take a B-12 MicroLingual™ vitamin tablet?
When regular B-12 tablets are swallowed, they are combined with a substance in the stomach called intrinsic factor (IF). Intrinsic factor decreases as we age. This makes absorption of B-12 in the stomach far less effective. In addition, B-12 is further filtered in the liver before it reaches the blood stream. In contrast with this, when you take a MicroLingual™ vitamin tablet, the B-12 passes through the glands under the tongue and goes directly to the blood stream, bypassing the digestive track completely. This results in higher and more effective absorption rates.
Can No Shot B-12 be used in place of an injection?

Why is there powder at the bottom of the vitamin tablet bottle?
The process used to manufacture MicroLingual™ vitamin tablets is a gentle molding process. Other types of tablets are compressed by tons of force and heat. This can break down the molecular properties of vitamins like B-12. MicroLingual™ tablets may look a little rough and be softer than most other tablets. Some powder may result in the bottom of the bottle.
